No More Snoring!!

Jacob for the past year or two, we've noticed, has been rubbing his eyes a lot and blinking. We wanted to check him for allergies. David on the other hand has had his sinuses clogged for most of the past couple of years. So we took them both to an allergy/sinus doctor. He sent them both to do cat scans to check their sinuses. The doctor was pretty amazed. He said not only did it look like the two of them have had chronic sinus infections for the past couple of years but their sinuses were completely clogged in the same exact sinuses! He said he had never seen that before with two relatives. He asked us if David snores when he sleeps. Does he!?! He always had a little bit but the last couple of years he has not been so pleasant to sleep next to. So he gave the boys a mild steroid to help with starting to clear them up along with a few rounds of antibiotics. After a couple of days of taking the steroid David has almost completely stopped snoring!!!!!!! YEA!!!!! (For me especially David hardly knew the difference) It's been driving me crazy the last couple of months because I would get up to feed the baby and I would be serenaded by David's snoring!! They were both tested for allergies and thankfully neither has any to serious to worry about which means once these infections and sinuses are cleared up they should both be good to go for awhile!! Thank you Dr. Bakaya!!!

I love my saucer!

She is such an active baby so it is so nice for her and I that she is able to play in this..

So Cute Shauni!!!

Thank you Shauni for sending this cute head band for Bella!! You did such a good job!! Now that I see it I think it will be easier for me to try and make it. You should start a home business..

Bag Tag

I was getting ready to clean my purse and I had to stop myself to take a picture!! It's pretty amazing all this stuff fits in it: 2 lip glosses, key, wedding rings(I know they should be on my finger), burp cloth, magazine subscription order form(David's), wet ones, diapers, sunglasses, sunglass cleaner, 2 pens, baby toy, wallet, sunglass case, 2 counter top samples(again David's), infant Tylenol (Bella has a double ear infection), hand sanitizer, 3 receipts, visine, dentist refrigerator magnet, Halloween costume contest ribbon(ya, that is old), baby socks, and lip balm! Wow, now I just need to clean this up..

A Flying Trampoline....

The kids got a trampoline from Santa Claus. The other night (well I guess it has been a few weeks now) it was soooooooo windy that the wind picked up the trampoline and blew it over the brick wall and into the neighbors backyard!!! I woke up to a loud noise at about 1 in the morning. I looked out the window and I could see the trampoline in the neighbors yard. It must have fell pretty hard because it broke into pieces. Our neighbor woke up to it also and helped us bring it back over. David thinks he can put it back together so we will see...

Mini get away

Two weekends ago we went up to Monterey to visit David's mom and Grandpa. While there we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I had never been there before. I was impressed with its size. The kids had a lot of fun of course. My favorite was the jelly fish. I had no idea there was so many different kinds! We also stopped by the beach for a short time (it was very cold!) to let Jacob and Chloe run around. While at the beach there was a guy hang gliding. He was fun to watch. He was going so fast that it would scare me too much to try it.

After spending Thursday and Friday there we headed to Pleasanton (near San Francisco) to visit some friends and attend a birthday party. One of their girls Madeline (with Jacob in a picture on the post for his birthday) was turning 7. She had a Star Wars Lego party. It was a lot of fun and now Chloe thinks that is the party theme she should go with. (I'm sure it will change 5 more times until then)

AAARH...no more!!!!

So Jacob has been talking to us on and off since we bought the bed about if he truely wants it or not. He obviously likes it but realizes if he keeps it he is stuck with a pirate themed room til he grows up (I told him if he gets that bed he is stuck with it for a long time =) ) After a couple weeks of playing with it and contemplating HE decided against the pirate bed!! (much to David's dismay....I think he wishes he could sleep in it) So back to Costco it goes (good thing they have a good return policy) and back to bed shopping we go. I think this time he is ready for a neutral bed. We're proud of our little Jacob for really thinking it over and making a sound decision!! (oh ya....sorry Chloe)
