Easter

We had a busy, yet fun day on Easter. We started off the morning with Jacob and Chloe not really caring to get out of bed and see what the Easter Bunny left for them. Chloe actually cried and asked "Why". Of course she did a 180 after she saw her Easter basket.

Then we all got ready for church.

We visited David's grandma

Then off to my grandma's for dinner and an Easter egg hunt with cousins

Last year my kids did an Easter egg hunt at night with flashlights and they had so much fun they wanted to do it again. For the Easter egg hunt at night we filled their eggs up with money so they wouldn't get tooo much candy. (Since they already have too much candy)

Here's a couple of cute pics

Snow...In the desert....In March?!

The weather has been warming up and it has generally been in the low 70's. This past weekend a cold front was to come through here in the "High Desert" (meaning 45 - 50 degrees). David was quite surprised when he walked downstairs to get the kids breakfast and notice snow on the ground. Jacob and Chloe were thrilled to put on their hats and gloves (because as you can see there is sooo much snow) and play in it! They only had a few minutes until it warmed up!

P.S. I took Bella back to the doctor today to have her ears rechecked. She had been doing better until the last couple of nights. She has had a low fever and is congested again. I thought her ear infections were gone. NOPE! The doctor said they are worse!!

Asleep on the floor

So the other night while David and I were talking Chloe was on the floor playing with one of Bella's toys and Bella was on the floor having fun kicking a capri sun box. The next thing we knew we looked down and they were both fast asleep! If only it was always that easy...

If you look close you can see Bella at the top of this picture

Please tell me I'm not going crazy!?!

Don't let this picture of my peacefully sleeping Bella fool you it only lasts for about 15 min when she is not being held...

Please tell me I'm not going crazy!?!
That is my exact statement to the doctor yesterday. On Valentine's Day when David and Jacob went to the allergist I had a feeling Bella had an ear infection so I asked the doctor to check. Sure enough not only did she have an ear infection she had a double ear infection. She was crying a lot, not eating well, not sleeping well (she really only slept when I would hold her.. so then you know what my nights were like). After (too be honest I'm not sure how long) probably a week or two of sleepless nights she finally started to do better. I took her to a follow up check up at her doctor and her ear infections were gone. Yea...right!?! Well then a couple of nights later she kept waking up crying and crying and crying. Then she began crying a lot, not eating well, not sleeping well...I bet you see where this is going. At first I was in denial. No way could it be ear infections again. They just cleared up. So I took her back to the doctor yesterday. I told him "I know I was just here and you told me her ears cleared up but she is not doing too well again" Sure enough she has a double ear infection again!!!! AAAGGGHHH!!! My poor baby!! I am so sleep deprived I had to look at the receipts of our co-pay to go to the doctor to remember how long this has been going on! Bella and I have been sleeping more in the rocking chair then in our own beds. I long for the nights when she is not in pain anymore and I can sleep in my bed!!
